In November, we took part in Maths week England working with Lifesavers (who support our school bank). During that week, we all took part in maths money puzzles and activities! We entered a competition to design a new bank note. We had some amazing designs! Mollie Pearson in Class 11 was the chosen winner from our school entries. Well done Mollie! She will receive a book token and we have also won some amazon vouchers.

To commemorate this very important day in our history, the children in school this week have learnt all about Victory in Europe Day. Throughout the week, the children took part in lots of fun activities and it ended with a VE Day celebratory street party! A fantastic week and a huge well done to all of the staff and children involved. It would have been even better if everybody else had been there!
We are thrilled to announce that we have had children from our school recognised in the annual North Tyneside Writing Competition.
What a fantastic response! A big thank you to everyone for their hard work in creating some fantastic Family Eggs. Thank you also to all the children in school, who created some brilliant individual Class Eggs. Thank you Mrs Ravestijn, for donating some of the prizes for the Family Eggs.

This Year, Spring Gardens Primary took part in a challenge set by FitBit and Red Nose Day to help raise money for children in the UK and developing countries. All the children had fun dancing to music doing the Fitbit Flick while still donating money. Each class took part to make sure we raised as much money as we could.
