Messages from your teachers

Friday 3rd April

Hello Year One,

We hope you're all still smiling and helping your grown-ups at home.  We'll not be posting any school tasks for two weeks due to the Easter Break, but we are thinking of you all and will be back on here with more messages and tasks on Monday 20th April.

Remember that you can still go on Mathletics, Spellodrome and Purple Mash as often as you want to.  You can do some PE with Joe Wicks or some Go Noodle and sing our songs.  There's a link from North Tyneside Music Education Hub in our 'music' section with lots of musical ideas for you to try.

Reading is still really important.  There is a link in our 'resources' section for North Tyneside's Easter Reading Challenge, including information about using your library card to access free ebooks.  Try to play some phonics games too.

We've added in some fun Easter crafts that you might like to try at home.

Keep smiling, keep moving and be kind to your families.

We've added photos in case you forget what we look like!

From Miss Hedley and Mrs Guy (and Basil the cat).

Happy Friday, Year One!

We hope you have been doing lots of lovely things at home with your family as well as enjoying our weekly tasks! We will be uploading next week's tasks on Sunday so that you are ready for your week ahead. Please try your best to do as much as you can! Remember to get some fresh air, enjoy time with your family and laugh your socks off too!

Parents / Carers - keep up the hard work! We hope you are finding our activities useful!

Have a lovely weekend!

22nd March 2020

Year One,

Over the weekend, we have been busy adding lots of fun activities to our Year 1 website page. We hope you like them! Please check our website page at the beginning of each week to see your weekly tasks. Remember to practise your spellings too! You will find these in the 'Phonics' section. Most importantly... don't forget to smile, laugh and be happy during this time!

We are going to miss seeing your smiley faces tomorrow!

Miss Hedley and Mrs Guy
