We're going to learn about shapes for our last two days at home. We've already learned about 2D shapes in the classroom, so this is 3D shape work.
After you have watched the video, see if you can find some 3D shapes around your house. You might have a set of building blocks that are different shapes, or you could find other objects in your house. For example, a tin of beans is a cylinder, a dice is a cube, a cereal box is a cuboid, a football is a sphere. Collect some objects and see if you can name them. You could make models with them if it's safe to do that (check with an adult). Keep the shapes to use for sorting tomorrow.
