At Spring Gardens, we work hard to provide a safe, happy and responsible community in which your child can enjoy learning and be valued as a unique individual. We want the time your child spends here to be a positive experience, which encourages a love of learning. We also recognise the key to making the most of your child’s time with us is a shared responsibility between school and home. We offer regular meetings and opportunities for you to share and enjoy your child’s experiences and their educational journey!

All the pupils at Spring Gardens School took part in the Eat Smart 6 week Food Waste Reduction Program where we audited our food waste across the school and learnt in workshops how this waste impacts the environment.
Our Waste Warriors developed an action plan that the whole school put into place. Performing a second audit helped us measure how much we have reduced our food waste.
Year 3 all had a great time at the John Spence Dodgeball Competition.
We all tried our best and we`ll certainly sleep well tonight.
Nothing to complain about except that Mrs Hewitt got smacked twice in the face by a ball!! We are sure it was by mistake 😮
🇫🇷Year 5 have been working hard in their French lessons this half term to learn vocabulary about ‘Eating Out’🇫🇷🍴Today, they were given the task of translating the short story ‘Une mouche dans les jus d’orange/A fly in the orange juice’ into English! 🪰🍊Bravo les enfants!
Congratulations to all of our certificate winners on Friday. Fantastic work, attitude and excellent role models.
🚀🔭Our Year 5 & 6 Space Club had an out of this world experience with a robotics workshop from @kielderobservatory 🪐
The children became mini engineers, programming sphere robots and exploring how coding and space science go hand in hand.
From problem solving to teamwork, they showed incredible creativity and curiosity every step of the way! ✨
A huge thank you to James for inspiring the next generation of scientists, coders and explorers. 🌠🌌
