Literacy
Monday
Look at your work from last week. You should have LOTS of descriptive sentences that you have used to create a simple line poem. Last week, you were asked to think about how to IMPROVE your descriptive sentences by thinking about:
a. Adding in more detail e.g. The forgotten city of silence
b. Adding in a character e.g. Blake wandered into the forest of nightmares by mistake.
c. Thinking about what it is like in your place e.g. Once you enter the castle of curses, you can never escape.
Now I want you to think about juxtaposition. Play around with your words until you come up with something you are happy with! You could even draw your ideas around each sentence.
